Classic Quail Hunts
Season: November 2024 - March 2025 
 
Our hunts take place in nostalgic quail habitat that we continue to develop for the ultimate classic hunt. If you want to be kicking up birds in clean open fields, Hunter Run is not the place for you. During your hunt you can expect to have several covey flushes and enjoy  a plethora of opportunities at singles and some doubles.  You will be hunting tall open pines and thick briar bottoms so we recommend you bring a good set of double tin Filson chaps.  During Woodcock season be prepared for this unique treat when we hunt clear cuts with native warm season grasses that are bordered by beaver ponds.  We do not hunt everyday so our cover and early season liberated birds offer quality shooting throughout the season.
 
1/2 day hunts: These hunts include guides, dogs cleaning and vacuum packing of birds and will accommodate from one to three hunters. You have the option of 
40, 50 or 75 bird hunts.

Full day hunts include everything included in 1/2 day hunt plus one nights lodging for three,  lunch on day of hunt and hunting from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Full day hunts give you the option of 40 , 50, 75 or 100 birds.
